Copenhagen Lawyers' Legal Aid (Københavnske Advokaters Retshjælp) offers free oral legal advice at Kulturhuset Indre By on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:00 to 18:30. Book a consultation by clicking "Sign up".

Legal Aid was founded in spring 1978 by Copenhagen lawyer Merete Cordes to provide everyone with access to free and anonymous legal advice. Since then, the idea has spread to more than 100 legal aid offices across Denmark - all independent but built on the same principle: open to all, advice is given orally and anonymously, here and now.

Consultations are anonymous and nothing is written down. You cannot contact Legal Aid in advance - neither by phone nor in writing. If your problem can be solved on the spot, it will be; otherwise you will be referred to relevant authorities or to Legal Aid's lawyers.
