Author Talk: Nanna Holm on 'Røde port'

Nanna Holm's debut novel explores the leisure collective 'Røde port' on Langeland in the 1980s - a place built on ideals of freedom and community, yet harbouring dark secrets beneath the surface. Three childhood friends, Mona, Gry and Aske, attempt as adults to make sense of one decisive summer that shaped the rest of their lives.

Culture journalist and P1 radio host Karen Secher will lead the conversation with Nanna Holm about her first book. Holm was born in 1977, holds a cand.mag. in rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen, and has a long career in the communications industry.

The event takes place in the Othello room on the 1st floor, Christianshavn Library, Dronningensgade 53, 1420 Copenhagen K. The nearest metro station is Christianshavn (M1/M2), approximately 5 minutes' walk along Dronningensgade. If you get off the bus at Christianshavn Torv, it is also about 5 minutes on foot.
