About

Nanna Holm (born 1977) is a Danish author and rhetorician who spent many years working in communications before making her literary debut at 49 with the novel Røde Port (Gutkind, April 2026). The book is set at a leisure collective on the island of Langeland at the close of the Cold War, tracing three childhood friends whose shared summer casts a long shadow over their adult lives. The debut received five-star reviews in Berlingske and Kristeligt Dagblad and quickly became one of the most talked-about Danish novels of its publication year.
