Det Danske Drengekor: Imod Daggry

Det Danske Drengekor performs the concert work Imod Daggry at Christianskirken in Sønderborg on Friday, 4 September 2026 at 19:00. The work weaves Danish songs together with electronic soundscapes in a journey between darkness and light. Christianskirken, located at Ringgade 102 in the eastern part of Sønderborg, was designed by architect Kaare Klint in the so-called Klint-gothic style - a style rooted in gothic formal language. The concert lasts approximately one hour and admission is free. Imod Daggry was created by the composer duo LÖVHOLM, consisting of the choir's chief conductor Emil Ritter and double bassist Tomas Raae, both of whom perform at the concert.
