Musical Lecture with Jette Torp: And There Must Be Knitting...

Jette Torp presents a musical lecture where music, literature, and handicraft converge. She plays guitar and sings songs that hold special meaning for her, while sharing stories from her own life and reading passages from books that have left their mark.

The audience is welcome to knit, crochet, sew, or draw - and as Torp herself puts it, losing yourself in a piece of handicraft reminds you in many ways of losing yourself in a beautiful song or a good book. It brings calm, focus, and sets your thoughts free.

The programme features Anne Linnet, Ida Jessen, The Carpenters, Marianne Fredriksson, Stine Pilgaard, and Carl Nielsen - probably for the first time ever presented from the same stage.

You are also welcome without handicraft, as long as you don't mind being surrounded by yarn, clicking needles, and busy hands. The event is held in collaboration with Garn uden Grænser in Salen, Nørre Havnegade 15, 6400 Sønderborg.
