Behind the Books: Sport, Spice and Sex

Sport appears everywhere in contemporary literature - but why? This conversation explores what drives authors across genres to write about bodies in competition and love.

Johanne Bille, author of the novel 'Gnister på isen', and Maja Lucas, who wrote the acclaimed 'Tennisdigte', meet for a discussion with romance expert Sarah von Essen as moderator. The audience is welcome to participate actively: which sports novels or poems have stayed with you? Questions can be sent in advance to literature coordinator Mathias at td6a@kk.dk or asked on the day.

The event takes place at LIVE, Store Scene, 4th floor, Copenhagen Main Library. Admission is free with a ticket via Billetto.
