Mathias Granum calls himself a hippie teacher and took progressive pedagogy to its extreme when he founded his own dream school - but ultimately came to the realization that beautiful ideals are not enough to build a good school on.

The lecture is based on his book "From Problem Students to Model Students", published in January 2026, and his visit to Michaela Community School in London - a school that has been called England's strictest, but which has found solutions to the behavioral problems many other schools struggle with.

The lecture is aimed at teachers, parents, older students and anyone else interested in education.
