Saturday at the Loft: Storytelling and Live Drawing with 'Stine Goes Crazy'

Author Stine Askov and illustrator Zarah Juul present the children's book 'Stine går agurk' (Stine Goes Berserk) at Copenhagen's Main Library. They will read aloud from the book, draw live from its universe, and may create a new Stine story together with the audience.

The book follows Stine, an ordinary girl who sometimes loses her temper - especially when playtime is interrupted, clothes itch, or sunscreen needs to go on. Her parents know it well, but love her anyway. Stine Askov is a trained pedagogue and author of the novels "Katalog over katastrofer", "Nøjsomheden", and "Varme hænder". Zarah Juul has written and illustrated "Venner fra A til Å", "Anna - en lille maler", and "Først i aften, Kiko", and illustrated "Børnene fra Sølvgade".

The event is aimed at children aged 3-6 with adults. It takes place on Saturday, 19 September, 11:00-12:00 on the 4th floor, Krystalgade 15, 1172 Copenhagen K. Free admission, but a ticket is required for everyone - both children and adults. The event is part of the Main Library's family series 'Saturday at the Loft', which brings current children's books to life through storytelling, live drawing, film, and music.
