Debut of the Month: Frederik Drescher Kluth

Frederik Drescher Kluth (born 1996) presents his debut novel 'I mellemtiden er vi ingen' (In the Meantime We Are No One), which follows a young man whose everyday life seems to revolve around pizza, weed, and YouTube - but beneath the surface lies doubt, vulnerability, and unresolved questions about friendship, love, and masculinity.

Literature mediator Mathias Emil Stenrøs interviews Drescher Kluth about the writing process, portraying masculinity and vulnerability in print, and what it means to debut with a novel that alternates between humor and seriousness in its depiction of loneliness and belonging. You don't need to have read the book to attend.

The event is part of the festival Don't Fear the Weird and is organized in collaboration with PsykInfo. It takes place on Monday, October 26 from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM at LIVE, 4th floor, Store Scene, Copenhagen Main Library. Admission is free with a ticket - seats cannot be reserved, and from certain seats the view of the stage is limited.
