Writing Workshop: Create a Strong Plot

Boris Hansen, who has spent 20 years publishing major novel series with a focus on surprising plots and compelling characters, teaches the fundamentals of plot and character development in this workshop. He covers both essential techniques that all writers should know and tricks he has developed over his career.

Hansen debuted in 2006 with the crime novel "Marburg-eksperimentet" and has since published several science fiction and fantasy series. He also works with worldbuilding and longer narratives in digital formats.

The workshop is for adults and takes place at Copenhagen's Main Library, 4th floor (room: LIVE). Participation is free but requires registration on Billetto. No computers are provided, so bring your own laptop and/or paper and pen - desk space is very limited, and you will likely need to work with materials in your lap. A writing board can be borrowed. The 4th floor has a water station and coffee machine, but no other refreshments, so bring your own water bottle or flask.
