Sensory Workshop — Solvang Bibliotek, Copenhagen
Free entry

In a sensory room with colorful curtains printed with natural forms, Franz and Debbie take the youngest children on a sensory journey with nature at the centre. From small and large suitcases, tactile nature treasures are unpacked one by one - things you can listen to, feel, smell and explore more closely.

What does it sound like when you shake plant seeds? How does sheep's wool smell? Can you play music on a potted plant? How do pine cones smell when they get wet? Can you draw with help from nature? And what does parsley actually taste like?

There are two sessions: 09:30-10:05 for 1-3-year-olds (reserved for nursery children) and 10:30-11:05 for 2-4-year-olds (reserved for kindergarten children). Choose date via the ticket link.

Behind the workshop are musician and illustrator Franz Bomberg and textile artist Debbie Kathrine Sørensen. They are affiliated with Solvang Library in 2026 as part of the project Nature's Fantasy / Fantasy's Nature, supported by Amager Vest Local Committee, Nordea Foundation and children's cultural funds.
