Children's Rhythm Class, Ages 3-5 — Bibliotekshuset, Copenhagen

Rhythmics educator and motor skills advisor Pernille Broberg Balle lets drum rhythms and children's own imagination guide the sessions. Gross motor skills are developed through play, song, and free movement.

The class is aimed at children between 3 and 5 years old. The price is 60 kr. per session for one child and one adult.

Bibliotekshuset is a local public library on Amager, part of the Copenhagen municipal library network. The ground floor has lending machines, book displays and reading nooks, the basement is set up as a quiet non-fiction zone, and the first floor offers study seats, daily newspapers and computers. A rooftop terrace opens in summer. The library also acts as a neighbourhood hub, hosting reading clubs, a board-game club, a craft club and a Danish conversation group. Outside staffed hours it operates as a self-service library accessible with a health card.
