The afternoon begins with a read-aloud of "The Very Very VERY Dangerous Monster" by Rebecca Bach-Lauritsen - then we get started cutting and gluing our own cardboard monsters. Non-Danish speakers are also welcome: we read about monsters and make our own scary (or not so scary) monsters in cardboard.

The workshop is open for children of all ages, but they must bring an adult. Free entry - registration via billetto.dk. Location: Children's Library.

About the venue: Islands Brygge Bibliotek

Islands Brygge Bibliotek on Njalsgade is a small public library that has occupied the same spot in the old part of the Islands Brygge neighbourhood since 1966. The single-room space houses both adult and children's sections, with shelves stocked with new titles. Beyond lending, the library runs reading clubs, author events, book cafés and regular children's activities such as storytelling and theatre. Self-service access is available every day 08:00-20:00; a health card is required outside staffed hours.
