Most know Jesper Stein as a crime writer, but with his novels Rampen, Ædru and Lejr he has changed direction - alcoholism, family breakdown and a blend of autofiction and tragicomic satire have become his new territory.

His latest novel Terræn follows the same course, exploring people and their relationships. At Gilleleje Library he meets literature mediator and moderator Siri Rønne Christiansen for a conversation about his writing.

Gilleleje Bibliotek is part of Gribskov Biblioteker and is housed in Kulturhavn Gilleleje on Peter Fjelstrups Vej. It serves as an open community hub with access to books, e-books, film streaming and digital databases. Beyond lending, it runs talks, civic cafés and a Maker Space for creative work.
