Writing Workshop - Narrative Nonfiction

This workshop focuses on narrative nonfiction - the genre where real events are shaped into compelling stories. Participants will work with research and source criticism, scenic presentation, dialogue and perspective, ethics in telling others' stories, and finding your personal voice. The format alternates between short writing exercises and concrete examples, with time for discussion and feedback.

The instructor is Mette Mayli Albæk, a journalist, author, and nonfiction editor at Politikens Forlag, with a background in investigative journalism and editorial work.

The workshop is for adults and takes place in Kultursalen on the 1st floor from 11:00 to 13:00. Participation is free but requires registration via Billetto. Bring your own laptop and/or paper and pen - computers are not provided. Entrance from Frode Jakobsens Plads 4, 2720 Vanløse.
