Print Workshop - "The Arrogant Story"

Family workshop with illustrator Maria Buchmann, based on the picture book "The Arrogant Story", published by Frø on August 16, 2026. For children from 6 years old with a maximum of one adult - no ticket reservation needed for the adult.

Maria Buchmann talks about creating illustrations for "The Arrogant Story", made as silk prints at the State Workshops for Art. Afterwards, participants get the chance to experiment with printing themselves, inspired by fairy tales and fantasy - using simple techniques and help to turn ideas into images.

Free to participate, but requires registration on Billetto. The event takes place in the large pink room on the 1st floor and is supported by the association GroBro.

At Nørrebro Library, from August 15-31, you can also see the exhibition with Maria's illustrations for Khaled Juma's picture book "The Arrogant Story". The workshop is part of Weekend for Children in Nørrebro - free cultural and movement activities for children and their adults, held on Saturdays and Sundays in sports halls, libraries and cultural venues with support from the Nørrebro Local Committee and the NØBU Foundation.
