Møgmis is Denmark's most vengeful cat - a comic series about the wild and psychopathic cat Møgmis.

Author Sophie Souid and illustrator Thomas Hjorthaab meet the audience for a talk about cats, pets and teenagers. They read aloud and discuss friendship, siblings and injustice, while Thomas Hjorthaab draws live throughout.

The event is aimed at children aged approximately 7-12 years and is part of the Amager Literature Festival, supported by the Danish Arts Foundation, Amager East Local Committee and Amager West Local Committee.

About the venue: Bibliotekshuset

Bibliotekshuset is a local public library on Amager, part of the Copenhagen municipal library network. The ground floor has lending machines, book displays and reading nooks, the basement is set up as a quiet non-fiction zone, and the first floor offers study seats, daily newspapers and computers. A rooftop terrace opens in summer. The library also acts as a neighbourhood hub, hosting reading clubs, a board-game club, a craft club and a Danish conversation group. Outside staffed hours it operates as a self-service library accessible with a health card.
