De Grimme Ællinger

In 1996, De grimme ællinger was released - a compilation featuring key names from the Danish hip-hop underground. Now, 30 years later, AmarGetON! marks the occasion with an anniversary discussion at Ørestad Bibliotek.

The evening is hosted by Peter PTA Trier Aagaard. He speaks with Tanja Schlander, Kølig Kaj and Konen, as well as several other contributors to the compilation - more names will be announced - about the album's history and its significance for Danish hip-hop culture.

The conversation explores how the album came about, the ambitions and challenges that shaped the project, and what De grimme ællinger has meant for generations of Danish hip-hop artists who followed.
