The Danish Air Transport Company and SAS

Casper Dahm has spent his life collecting knowledge about civil aviation, with a particular focus on SAS, and has built models as part of his passion for the subject.

His lecture covers the early years of Danish aviation: from the first flights at Kløvermarken through the founding of DDL and later SAS, to episodes such as the "sandwich war", the opening of polar routes, and the breakthrough of charter flying. A PowerPoint presentation is shown throughout, and an exhibition of souvenirs, merchandise, and other material from Dahm's personal collection is on display.

The event takes place at Ørestad Bibliotek in collaboration with Kulturforeningen Liv i Sundby. Tickets are available at livisundby.dk for 75 kr. for non-members and 30 kr. for members.
