Valbyparken is Copenhagen's largest park, covering 64.2 hectares across the Valby and Vesterbro/Kongens Enghave districts, stretching towards Kalvebod Strand. It opened on 1 September 1939 on the site of the old Valby common, which had served as a landfill, and was listed as a protected area in 1966. Today it holds 17 theme gardens - laid out when Copenhagen was European City of Culture in 1996 - a rose garden with around 12,000 plants, the city's largest nature playground, and a beach. The park also hosts major events such as Grøn Koncert and the Copenhagen Medieval Market.

About: Anna von Hausswolff

Gothenburg-born organist and vocalist Anna von Hausswolff has built one of the most singular bodies of work in contemporary experimental music since "Ceremony" (2012), with the pipe organ as her signature instrument and a vocal range few can match. Her sixth album "ICONOCLASTS" (2025) is her most ambitious release yet, featuring collaborations with Iggy Pop and Ethel Cain among others.
