On August 30, Ørestad Syd hosts the Copenhagen Street Theatre Festival with a full day of street theatre, music and creative activities. The festival runs from August 23-30, 2026 and has visited Husum, Nørrebro, Sydhavn and Valby throughout the week - Ørestad is the final stop. Entry is free and the programme is aimed at children and their adults.

The festival is part of DIG - Denmark's International Street Theatre Festivals - and is supported by, among others, the Nordea Foundation, By & Havn, Copenhagen Municipality's Children's Cultural Fund and a number of local committees.
