Ukrainian-Danish Folk Festival with Skryabin, Bandura and Local Talents

A Ukrainian-Danish celebration of friendship on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, August 24. A wonderful day with the legendary band Skryabin, featuring vocalist Yurko Yurchash Yurchenko, bandura player Halyna Bandurovaya, folk dancers from Holstebro, and local talents from the music and ballet schools.

The programme includes welcome songs and dances, an exhibition of paintings from the ballet school, performances by talented musicians and dancers from Holstebro Music School, Holstebro Folk Dancers, and musicians. Kulturperlen will provide food and drink stalls. You can purchase food and beverages on the square, with proceeds supporting humanitarian aid to Ukraine and local volunteer and sports/cultural organizations.
