Join us on a journey from the largest things we know to the smallest we can only imagine. We continue to see further into the universe - past stars, nebulae, and distant galaxies, all the way back to the faint afterglow of the Big Bang. But what does the universe look like if we turn our gaze the other way? If we no longer point our telescopes at the sky but let the microscope lead us inward - into the matter around us? What lies hidden in the universe's smallest structures? And how far can we actually go before our understanding runs out?

For this special event, Holger Bech Nielsen, professor emeritus and one of Denmark's most prominent theoretical high-energy physicists, takes the stage in the Planetarium's iconic Planetarium Dome alongside author and journalist Jonas Kuld Rathje. Through conversation, storytelling, and big questions, they take the audience on a journey from the universe's outer limits to the smallest things we can describe. The duo is known from the lecture successes "Theory of Everything", "Theory of Nothing", and "Theory of Everything and Nothing" at the Planetarium - based on their popular books of the same name. Our new special event develops the concept further and opens new perspectives. The event is uniquely designed for the Planetarium Dome and accompanied by a visually immersive journey.
