Musicians: Michala Petri and Bolette Roed, recorders and lecture

Kanalhuset in Christianshavn hosts a lecture on the history of the recorder, with musical examples performed by Michala Petri and Bolette Roed - the two musicians also give a concert together later in the day.

The lecture is open to all ages and aimed at anyone curious to learn more about the recorder and hear it up close. There will be an opportunity for conversation with both musicians.

About: Michala Petri

Michala Petri is a Danish recorder player, born in 1958, widely regarded as one of the foremost soloists on her instrument. She has performed with major orchestras around the world and had numerous works written for her, covering repertoire from baroque to contemporary music.
