Dan Bang, lecturer in cognitive neuroscience at Aarhus University, and Jens Christian Hedemann Sørensen, neurosurgeon, professor and head of the Department of Neurosurgery and chair of the Danish Neuroscience Research Center at Aarhus University Hospital, present the latest advances in treating brain diseases.
The programme covers deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders, as well as spinal cord stimulation for severe chronic pain - both treatments already in clinical use.
Science journalist Line Friis Frederiksen moderates. The event is part of the Folk University's knowledge festival Hearts & Minds and takes place in the Rampen room.
