Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche

For the first time in Copenhagen, the Buddhist master Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche shares his perspectives on meditation, wisdom and compassion with the public. Over three days, the programme features a public lecture and in-depth Buddhist teachings within the Vajrayana school of Tibetan Buddhism - open to all.

On the final day, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche bestows the sacred empowerment of Vajrakilaya Sangthik Phurba. Those who receive this empowerment commit to maintaining the practice and samaya associated with Vajrakilaya Sangthik Phurba going forward.

Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche is a young Tibetan Buddhist master from a remarkable lineage - son of Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche and closely connected to both the Chokling Tersar and Khyentse lineages. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has recognized him as the reincarnation of the former Dilgo Khyentse, regarded as one of the twentieth century's most respected Dzogchen masters.
