Animal Dance & Fun Obstacles (Ages 2-5) Group 1 — Prismen, Copenhagen

A movement and motor skills class for children aged approximately 2-5 years with their parent(s). Physiotherapist Marianne Mogensen leads sessions combining balance challenges, motor skill activities, free play, and imaginative games.

Each week features a new theme - the beach, a zoo, the jungle, a pirate ship, or outer space. The large parachute becomes a jellyfish bobbing in water, the rope becomes a snake, and children explore an obstacle course and swings. Sessions include singing, music, and jungle drums. The focus is on the children's play, with parents as active participants or practical helpers.

Weekly group activities include the parachute game, animal dance songs, massage play, first aid for children, and seasonal songs - all voluntary. Children can choose to focus on the obstacle course instead of group singing.

Six sessions on Tuesdays: November 3, 10, 17, 24 and December 1, 8. Group 1 runs 15:35-16:15 (plus 5 minutes for tidying and sanitizing). Registration opens September 17, 2026 at 19:00. One child per paying adult; siblings receive a 15% discount. Babies under 18 months can attend free. Children from 18 months onwards require registration and payment. Age guidelines are flexible - slightly older or younger children are welcome.
