Prismen is a sports and cultural centre on Amager, opened in 2006 to a design by architect Dorte Mandrup. Its 3,340 m² building is wrapped in translucent polycarbonate panels that flood the interior with daylight and make the facade glow after dark. Inside there is a large sports hall, a dance studio, a cultural hall and four smaller rooms. Clubs and individuals use the facilities for football, volleyball and badminton, while the programme also includes workshops, regular classes and cultural events.
