Barolo Wine Tasting

Barolo wine tasting with a visit from producer Matteo Ozzano and importer Mickey Jensen. Wednesday, 2 September, 18:00-21:00. Ticket price: 400 kr.

Winery: Rocche Costamagna. This is one of the evenings we've really been looking forward to! We're hosting Barolo producer Matteo Ozzano, who brings his entire range. We'll taste his white wines, red wines, and single-vineyard Barolos, plus a small surprise. The tasting is a classic wine evening with long-table service paired with the wines, Italian delicacies, antipasti, and more.

About the winery: Rocche Costamagna is a historic, family-owned winery located in the heart of La Morra in Piedmont. The house has produced wine since 1841 and is particularly known for wines from the legendary Rocche dell'Annunziata vineyard. La Morra is renowned for producing some of the most elegant and refined Barolos with great aging potential. Rocche Costamagna creates Nebbiolo wines with soft, approachable tannins, making them accessible even when young. The wines are made using classical, traditional methods with long aging in large oak barrels (botti) to preserve the grape's complexity and finesse. Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is their signature wine-a terroir-driven Barolo with pronounced notes of red fruit, roses, licorice, and balsamic undertones.
