Rasmus Lyberth marks his 75th birthday with a concert at Rotationen in Holbæk on Wednesday, 2 September 2026 at 20:00. The evening brings together Lyberth, Julie Berthelsen, and a handpicked orchestra for a retrospective spanning six decades of his career. The programme draws from across his songwriting, interspersed with stories about the songs, his life, and the journey behind them. Tickets are 500 kr. and include the option to order a concert menu at Hotel Sidesporet. 100 kr. from each ticket sold goes to Foreningen Grønlandske Børn.

About the venue: Rotationen

Rotationen is the professional music venue run by the non-profit Fonden Sidesporet on Havnegade in Holbæk. The hall once housed the local newspaper's two-storey rotary printing press - hence the name - and the raw concrete look and high ceilings have been kept. Today the room holds up to 200 guests and is equipped with a professional stage and a Martin Audio sound system. Alongside more than 50 concerts a year spanning pop, rock, folk and dance, the venue also hosts theatre performances, parties and receptions.

About: Julie Berthelsen

Raised in Nuuk with music in her blood - her stepfather is Greenlandic music legend Per Berthelsen - Julie became one of the most recognisable voices in Danish pop after the 2002 Popstars final. Her annual Christmas concerts under the name Nordstjerne weave together songs from Greenland and Denmark in an intimate, vocal-led format that has drawn audiences across the country since 2018.
