Reumert/Elten Percussion Duo consists of internationally recognized classical percussion soloists Mathias Reumert and Anders Elten. The duo distinguishes itself from other percussion ensembles by specializing in melodic percussion instruments - the warm-toned marimba and its jazz-influenced sister instrument, the vibraphone. Since its founding in 2017, Reumert/Elten Percussion Duo has made it their mission to open new ears to contemporary concert music, and the two musicians work closely with some of today's leading composers. The programme includes a world premiere of Line Tjørnhøj's work "Mist" (2026).

About: Mathias Reumert

One of the most versatile figures in Danish contemporary music, Reumert combines careers as a marimba and vibraphone soloist, conductor and record producer. Since 2017 the Reumert/Elten Percussion Duo has taken new notated music to audiences ranging from major concert halls to hundreds of Danish schools.
