Viborg Musikforening celebrates 125 years with Trio con Brio Copenhagen at Viborg Teater on Monday 14 September 2026 at 19:30. The trio performs in expanded formation with Ludvig Gudin on violin and Nicholas Swensen on viola, presenting works by Mozart, Mendelssohn and Dvořák. Viborg Teater is the regional theatre for Central Jutland, housed in a classical building in central Viborg. This concert is one of two Danish dates for Trio con Brio Copenhagen this season. Since forming in Vienna in 1999, Trio con Brio Copenhagen has built a firm international reputation, playing stages from Carnegie Hall to the Pierre Boulez-Saal. Sisters Soo-Jin and Soo-Kyung Hong and pianist Jens Elvekjaer have won the Carl Nielsen Award and the Wilhelm Hansen Foundation's honorary prize, and release their acclaimed recordings on Orchid Classics.
