Paradigmeskiftet invites you to a lecture with Karen Wichmann, an authorized psychologist and specialist in psychotherapy for adults and clinical child psychology. She is the author of Healthy Boundaries.
The lecture draws on psychological theory and research and explores what it means to set healthy boundaries - creating balance between your own wishes and resources on one hand and others' expectations and demands on the other. Boundaries play a central role in avoiding stress, burnout, anxiety, and toxic relationships.
During the evening you will gain insight into why setting boundaries can be difficult, and receive practical tools to do so in different areas: in your family, as a parent, among friends, with particularly difficult people, at work, on social media, and in relation to yourself. You will also get tips and techniques for managing what makes it hard to maintain your boundaries - including difficult emotions, guilt, and others' resistance.
