TALK: Economic Preparedness
Bank og Sparekassemuseet, Copenhagen · 0 kr.
Bank og Sparekassemuseet invites three speakers for a conversation on economic resilience: chief economist Helge J. Pedersen, psychotherapist and economist Eva Diana Aagaard, and professor emeritus Finn Østrup. Together they discuss the unstable nature and history of the economy - and how we best handle it, whether it affects our wallets or our mental wellbeing.
Helge J. Pedersen is chief economist at Nordea with over 30 years of experience in the financial sector. Eva Diana Aagaard is trained as both a psychotherapist and economist and runs a therapy practice called MoneyMatters, where she works with people affected by financial worries or loss - also with 30 years of experience in the financial field. Finn Østrup is professor emeritus and has particularly studied financial crises from the Middle Ages to today; he previously worked at Copenhagen Business School as a professor of finance and in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Economics.
The museum opens at 18:00, one hour before the conversation begins. The event takes place on the mezzanine and is in Danish. Contact the museum for information about accessibility.
