Lea Kampmann performs at Gnisten Ry on Thursday 17 September 2026 at 20:00 as part of European Folk Day. Gnisten occupies the old heating plant on Møllevej, just 300 metres from the station, and is run entirely by volunteers from the association Musikværket Ry. Admission is 250 kroner. Kampmann presents her album Seinferð, produced by Teitur and released in September 2024, bringing Faroese culture and language to Danish audiences. This is one of two Danish concert dates for the artist in 2026 - the other takes place in Aarhus at Train on 29 August.

About the venue: Gnisten Ry

Gnisten is a music and culture venue housed in a former heating plant on Møllevej in Ry, just 300 metres from the railway station. It is run entirely by volunteers through the association Musikværket Ry. The programme ranges from jazz and folk to rock and classical, with room for both established artists and emerging talent on the intimate stage. The name Gnisten (The Spark) refers to the building's original life as a power works.
