Jakob Svendsen - I Think So

Kalundborg Comedy Club presents Jakob Svendsen with his new stand-up show "Tror jeg nok" - Saturday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at SKØL Brygkompagni. Tickets cost 220 kr.

Jakob Svendsen believes in himself, in God - and in his dentist. He also doubts. Himself, God - but never his dentist. In "Tror jeg nok", he takes the audience on an affectionate and self-ironic journey into how faith and doubt have shaped his life.

The show moves from childhood's first "I'm different" moments through a wise teenager and tenth-grade payments to adult life's meal plans, thoughts about death, and questions for God. It is neither a sermon nor a defense of Christianity, but an energetic comedy show from everyday chaos - where the shared calendar is filled with faith, hope and pettiness, and where the good Jakob wants to do, he doesn't do, while the evil gives him a shoulder injury.
