Caspar Eric: Crip - A Disabled World — Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus

Caspar Eric presents his new poetry collection Crip (2025), which explores living with disability. The collection is the culmination of a body of work that has focused on those living in the shadow of the welfare state - expressed through cold facts and angry political poems that ask, among other things, why it is easier to talk about assisted dying than assisted living when it comes to people with disabilities.

Caspar Eric himself lives with cerebral palsy and actively participates in public conversations about ableism and diversity. He made his debut in 2014 with the poetry collection 7/11, which earned him the Bodil and Jørgen Munch-Christensen Cultural Grant, and has since published Nike (2015), Avatar (2017), Alt hvad du ejer (2018), Jeg vil ikke tilbage (2020), Vi kan gøre meget (2021), and Nye balancer (2023). He holds a cand.mag. degree in literary studies from the University of Copenhagen.

Books will be available for purchase by Kristian F. Møller in connection with the event. The event takes place in Store Sal.
