Kim Larsen's Christianshavn

A guided walk through Christianshavn in the footsteps of Kim Larsen - featuring stories about his childhood in Copenhagen and the impressions that shaped him in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Along the way, we explore his teacher training and his love of the Højskole songbook, walking the streets and lanes where it all began - and ended. The route reveals stories about Gasolin', Langebro, Christianshavn Canal, Sofiegården, and Vor Frelsers Church. We may also step into a local pub and start the jukebox - and there's certainly room for a few tall tales.
