Writing Workshop
Akademikerhuset, Frederiksberg · 0–150 kr. · ≈ 20 €
This workshop explores why architects and designers should write - and how to get started in practice, whether through your own newsletter, on a platform, or as opinion pieces in other media.
Elisabeth Gellein from Spacegirls draws on her own experience and guides participants through topics such as blind spots in public architecture and design debate, newsletter funding and editing, and techniques for writing in a busy everyday life. The workshop also includes a group discussion about work structure, digital tools, and writing circles where participants share their own experiences.
Elisabeth Gellein holds a degree in architecture (cand.arch.) from 2016 and runs the interdisciplinary design studio Spacegirls together with Cisse Bomholt Christiansen. The studio has regularly received grants from the Danish Arts Foundation, the National Bank's Jubilee Fund, Dreyers Foundation, and the Nordic Culture Fund.
The workshop concludes with a shared lunch (buffet with meat and vegetarian dishes). Registration deadline: 14 May. Price including lunch: 50 kr. for members, free for unemployed and students, 150 kr. for others.
