Clay Plaster Course

This course offers a thorough introduction to clay plaster with a special focus on application in tiny houses. Clay plaster is an ancient technique that requires both theoretical understanding and practical experience - and that is the core of this course.

The teaching covers the properties and benefits of clay plaster, correct mixing ratios and material preparation, different application techniques, and maintenance and repair. You will work with the material yourself and learn the techniques step by step. The course is for beginners and those with some building experience, whether you are a DIY enthusiast, tradesperson, or curious about sustainable building methods.

The course is led by Noa Skovdal, who has many years of practical experience with clay plaster in tiny houses. It runs for 4-5 hours, and vegetarian lunch as well as coffee and cake are served during the day. There is also an opportunity for a tour of Grobund and a look at the building projects that småBYG is working on.
