6-Week Pottery Wheel Course for Beginners - Autumn 2026
Keramikværkstedet KFF, Copenhagen · 2600 kr. · ≈ 348 €
Instructor: Kristine Højstrup Søe
The course runs over six Wednesdays from 17:00 to 19:30: 21/10, 28/10, 4/11, 11/11, 18/11, and 2/12. Note that there are 14 days between the last two sessions - pieces need time to dry and be bisque-fired before glazing. The class has space for 5 participants.
The instruction covers the fundamentals of wheel throwing: wedging, centering, throwing, and trimming. On the final session, you will glaze the pieces you have made. Throughout the course, there are group demonstrations of processes and techniques as well as individual guidance, with ongoing discussions about form, materials, and decoration. After each class, time is set aside for shared cleanup and tidying.
