Spawner is an indie rock trio consisting of Ella Moreno Risell, Johan Danø Hoffmann, and Jonas Engell. In 2025, they released three singles and their debut album Air is Getting Stranger, which has caught the attention of critics both at home and abroad. The single of the same name was highlighted by CLASH Magazine, and Gaffa writes about the album: "Spawner belongs to the genre of indie bands that can make you hallucinate an extra member. Although the music on their debut album, Air is Getting Stranger, often consists of roaring guitar landscapes, thundering drums and ethereal vocal harmonies, there are only three musicians in the band." Gaffa adds: "But like the best shoegaze-inspired indie groups, it is really the strong songwriting behind the pleasant amplifier noise that makes the record a successful launch."

Throughout November, the band was under special attention on P6Beat under the title 'P6Beat follows', which gave them a solid amount of airplay and broadcast time. The band describes the project themselves as an exploration of how to create a shared fourth voice through the three voices - an exploration that unfolds as tight vocal harmonies that hum of folk and country, and wind between punk- and grunge-inspired riffs.
