Deafkids (BR) + KOMBI (BR)

Brazilian duo Deafkids are out with the album CICATRIZES DO FUTURO, where industrial beats, hectic percussion patterns and distorted guitar layers meet in a sonic universe drawing on Afro-Latin rhythms, spiritual jazz and club culture - expressed in a raw and unpredictable way. Thematically, the album circles around today's crises and the traces they leave in body and consciousness.

Support comes from KOMBI, the solo project of João Kombi. Since 2024 he has made his mark on the Brazilian experimental scene with drone and noise, dense textures and extreme timbres. The project has already performed in Berlin, Poland and Switzerland at festivals such as Novas Frequências and Prague Microfestival, and shared the stage with artists including Carla Boregas, City of Caterpillar, YOWIE and Birushanah.
