Guy Davis (US)

Guy Davis returns to Denmark for an intimate solo concert at Rotationen.

With two Grammy nominations and performances alongside legends like Bruce Springsteen, Chuck Berry, Don McLean, Pete Seeger, John Denver and B.B. King, Davis has built a career of global reach. He has performed at Royal Albert Hall for Queen Elizabeth II and twice for H.M. Queen Margrethe II, and many Danish audiences remember him from Tønder Festival. His repertoire includes his own songs and interpretations of classics within blues, folk and americana. Beyond music, he is an award-winning actor, composer and educator - and son of actors and civil rights advocates Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, an upbringing in 1950s and 60s New York that shapes his artistic expression to this day.

Ticket types:
Tickets with concert menu include seating at numbered tables at the front of the room. Standard tickets include seating at numbered tables at the back. Table numbers are assigned upon arrival. If you have purchased tickets together, you will be seated together automatically. If tickets were purchased under different order numbers but you wish to sit at the same table, send an email to rotationen@sidesporet.dk with the relevant order numbers.

Concert menu at Hotel Sidesporet (Social Seating) - 295 kr.:
2-course menu: Starter: Soy-marinated tuna, toppings and bread. Main course: Slow-roasted beef tenderloin, seasonal vegetables, potatoes and sauce. Arrival at the hotel 17:30-18:00, serving at 18:00. Dinner is served in the courtyard as standard, but you may be seated in any of the hotel's rooms. Allergies must be reported by the day before to rotationen@sidesporet.dk - remember to include your order number.
