Newly Graduated and a Bit Lost?

Job searching can feel chaotic and lonely, especially right after graduation. While much is beyond your control, there's plenty you can do. These two consecutive workshops give you a practical guide to landing your first job.

The six topics covered are: direction (what job types and tasks suit you?), skills and elevator pitch, CV, application and portfolio, networking and the "hidden" job market, job interviews, and job search strategy. The first workshop covers all six topics. The second workshop - two weeks later - reviews what has worked and goes deeper into what has been challenging. You'll work in groups and have the opportunity to support each other during and after the programme.

The facilitator is Johanne Louise Rosenquist, a trained coach and architect with 15 years of experience in job searching and deep industry insight.

The two workshops are held on 2 and 16 November, both days from 9:00 to 12:00, followed by lunch for those interested. Bring your computer - you'll work on your own materials during the workshop. Light refreshments are provided. Participation is free for FAOD members, but registration is required. Registering for one workshop covers both days.
