Tracing Echoes

Tracing Echoes is a physical and emotional performance following two characters through cultural confrontations, personal experiences, and mutual connection - exploring how the past continues to shape us today.

The work draws on rising nationalism and social polarization, circling around nostalgia, inherited traditions, and belonging. Through dance, it illuminates the tension between honoring the past and redefining oneself in contemporary Europe.

The performance is a co-production between GIPALI productions and Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium, with support from Knud Højgaard's Foundation, the Danish Actors' Association, Wilhelm Hansen Foundation, and Louis-Hansen Foundation.
