DR Big Band feat. Étienne Charles - Caribbean Connection

Caribbean trumpeter and composer Étienne Charles meets DR Big Band in a fusion of Caribbean music and modern jazz. This is the first time Charles brings this programme to DR Koncerthuset.

Charles leads the band on trumpet and vocals and has arranged all the music for the occasion. The programme features tracks from his latest album with Creole Orchestra mixed with music from his earlier collaboration with DR Big Band. Cuban percussionist Eliel Lazo joins as a guest musician.
