Eliel Lazo is a Cuban percussionist, singer-songwriter and producer, born on 1 November 1983 in Havana, who has been based in Copenhagen since 2007. He won the PERCUBA International Percussion Prize at 19 and received the Danish Music Award in 2011 for his world music album "El Conguero" on Stunt Records. His collaborators range from Chucho Valdés and Herbie Hancock to DR Big Band and Kylie Minogue, on whose 2014 album "Kiss Me Once" he appears.
