Anciients are a progressive metal band from Vancouver, Canada, whose sound draws on sludge, doom and stoner metal, built around long compositions with shifting dynamics. They debuted with 'Heart of Oak' in 2013 and followed up with 'Voice of the Void' in 2016, which earned them their first JUNO Award. After an eight-year hiatus, they returned in 2024 with 'Beyond the Reach of the Sun', winning a second JUNO Award and reaffirming their standing in the Canadian heavy music scene.
Anciients announced a Canadian summer tour with shows in Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City, including as headliners at the Mosh the Rock festival.
The band announced their first European headliner tour in over a decade - 'Ascent of the Fallen Ones' - with 15 dates in Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, UK, Spain and Portugal from September to October 2026.
