Athena Farrokhzad is an Iranian-Swedish poet, author and literary critic. Her debut collection "Vitsvit" (2013), exploring exile, family and political resistance, has been translated into several languages. She works at the intersection of language, body and collective memory, and is also active as a translator and teacher.
